Facelift Surgery |
Facelift Surgery can help reverse the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun, and the stresses of daily life which can be seen in our faces as we age. Youthful fullness around the lower eyelids and cheeks begins to descend down the cheeks into the jowl area. The neckline loses its definition and excess skin and fat appears to collect in the center of the neck. With Modern Facelift Surgery we can correct some of these effects of aging. When surgery is not needed or desired, a wrinkle filler is another popular option.
A facelift (technically known as rhytidectomy) can't stop this aging process. What it can do is "set back the clock," improving the most visible signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and redraping the skin of your face and neck. A facelift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a brow lift, eyelid surgery, nose reshaping, or the use of a wrinkle filler, such as Juvederm®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®, or Restylane®.
