Using fat from your own body to regain a more youthful fullness of the  lips or to fill in a hollow beneath the eyes has many advantages over  other types of fillers.  Fat is a normal part of youthful lips, eyes  and faces.  As we age, we lose fat in our faces.  The area below the  eyes becomes more skelentonized, generally producing a dark groove or  circle.  Lip fat begins to decrease causing a lose of projection and  fullness.  Other areas of the face can also develop a more hollowed  look over time.

Fat grafting is a procedure where we take a small amount of fat from one part of your body and place it in another. The fat is harvested with liposuction through very small canulas. The fat is then delicately placed as a graft in the desired location.  Your body incorporates this graft at the new site as new blood vessels grow into it, making it natural living tissue.
