In all aspects of plastic surgery, we strive for the beauty of the human form. In aesthetic surgery we try to enhance a persons natural beauty or restore some lost youthfulness. In reconstructive surgery, we try to restore a normal appearance to a part of the body that is abnormal due to cancer surgery, trauma, or congenital defects. In addition to closing a wound or filling a hole, we hope to restore a sense of wholeness and normalcy to people who have suffered the trials of cancer, trauma, or disfigurement.
