The below photographs are of Dr. Loomis' actual patients, but do not guarantee your results by him or other surgeons. Individual results vary.
This patient of Dr. Loomis' had a mini- abdominoplasty, or mini-tummy-tuck which included liposuction of her abdomen and hips, with the removal of a small amount of skin through a very short and low incision leaving what lookslike a c-section scar. She also had a repair of an umbilical hernia at the same time.

Liposuction of the abdomen: When there is good skin tone, we can sometimes treat a bulge of the stomach with liposuction alone as was done in this patient of Dr. Loomis' in whom ultrasonic and tumescent liposuction was utilized to even off the lower half of the abdomen.
Liposuction of the abdomen: Many men store fat within the abdomen (below the muscle and fascia) which is not amenable to liposuction. In this patient of Dr. Loomis' however, the excess fat was primarily under the skin and he responded well to liposuction of the abdomen and hip roll.
Ultrasonic liposuction has been quite helpful in treating difficult areas such as the more fibrous fat of the lower back. This patient of Dr. Loomis' is shown following ultrasonic liposuction of the posterior and lateral hips.
Liposuction of the thighs: This patient of Dr. Loomis' was quite thin except for lateral thigh and hip areas of fullness. She underwent liposuction of these areas under a local anesthetic.

Liposuction

Many innovationss in liposuction or liposculpture have come about in recent years. Tumescent fluid infiltration, ultrasonic liposuction, laser-assisted liposuction, water-assisted liposuction, and the use of small delicate liposuction cannulas, have all assisted our ability to reliably and safely recontour areas of fat throughout the body with liposuction. The tumescent fluid minimizes any bleeding, and the liposuction cannulas gently break up the fat cells to remove them. In addition, we also utilize newer techiques of liposuction which allow for simultaneous fat-grafting which can help repair indentations or contour irregularities from previous liposuction or cellulite, as well as provide an augmentation to other areas such as the buttocks. Liposuction can also be utilized with a mini-tummy-tuck, as shown in the first patient on the right. During your liposuction, a number of the current techniques may be employed as needed to help obtain an optimal result.
